How do you prevent a Birthday from turning into a Burn Day? With a little fun, foresight and some friendly advice from Hot Stuff the Firecat! Trapped in a fire as a kitten and growing up in a fire hall taught Hot Stuff alot about fire safety and avoiding burns. Now she’s spending her 9 lives keeping her friends and family fire smart and fire safe. This 20 minute video follows Hot Stuff and her friends as they prepare for and attend Jake’s 9th birthday party and sleep-over. The day goes from one burn related crisis to another with Hot Stuff to the rescue each time.

HOT STUFF & THE KIDS is composed of six 3-minute
segments, each focusing on a particular burn or fire related issue. These draw children’s attention to: Kitchen Safety; Smoke Alarms; Playing with Matches; Hot Tap Water; Stop, Drop and Roll; and Family Fire Escape Plans. Each 3-minute segment can be a fun and informative mini-story on its own or put them together for a story of the kids’ whole day. Eitherway its an enjoyable way for children to learn about fire safety and burn awareness from a cast of characters they can reallyrelate to.
